Building Brands That Bear Fruit

One of the many biblical postures that’s been catching my attention lately is this simple but powerful one: to bear fruit.

And while that can take on so many forms, what we know for sure is this—fruit aligns with our character. It shows up in how we treat people. How we stay rooted when things get tough. How we serve. And how, when people encounter us, they get a glimpse of God through us.

But you know me—I’m a business girl too.

So naturally, I started thinking…

What does it mean for a brand to bear fruit?

Because here’s the thing:

Your business doesn’t have to be stamped “faith-based” to reflect the Father.

But it should have fruit that proves it’s been rooted in something real.

When people experience your business—whether it’s a product, service, or conversation—they should walk away better than they came.

So what does that look like?

For a business consultant—it’s empowering clients without manipulation or inflated promises.

For a fitness coach—it’s showing up for people’s whole health, not just their measurements.

For a photographer—it’s seeing people and helping them see themselves.

For a marketer—it’s not just selling, but stewarding the story with honesty and impact.

In other words:

Fruit isn’t just what looks good online or pays well—it’s what lasts, blesses, and multiplies.

Ask yourself:

  1. Does my business produce more than profit?

  2. Is it rooted in obedience or just strategy?

  3. Does it leave a visible impact?

  4. Is it multiplying lives, hope, clarity, freedom?

If the brand you’re building doesn’t bear fruit—it’s time to check the roots.

Because when your business is rooted in purpose, the impact will speak louder than the aesthetics.

And here’s the part we don’t talk about enough:

The Pruning Process.

To bear more fruit, there are things that have to be cut away.

Personally, that might mean:

  • Releasing relationships that cloud your clarity.

  • Saying no to “good” things that aren’t God things.

  • Giving up the grind to make room for grace.

In business, that could look like:

  • Letting go of offers that no longer serve the mission.

  • Detaching from platforms or methods that exhaust you.

  • Saying goodbye to clients who drain you.

Pruning hurts. But it also heals.

Because what gets pruned has the potential to grow again—stronger, deeper, more aligned.

And that’s what ASSIGNED is all about.

Because bearing fruit doesn’t just happen—it’s activated.

Fruit follows obedience.

It shows up when we stop waiting for a perfect moment or another “word” from God...and start moving on the one He already gave us.

If your business, calling, or creative work has been collecting dust...If your gifts have been paused, minimized, or boxed in...If you’ve been waiting for clarity while God’s been waiting on you...

Then this is your invitation to shift.

It’s time to activate your assignment.
