Part I: 4 Vs that Can Make (or Break) Your Brand.

Whew.

What a time it's been...

I woke up this morning like, "October 1st already?!"

Jesus.

The time is surely flying by, and we'll be to 2020 before we know it!

But before we get there—we're officially now in quarter 4, so it's time to put the pedal to the metal and push through the remaining of 2019!

So!

Get off your butt.

Plan it right!

And hold yourself accountable.

Today, I wanted to talk to you about the 4 Vs that can make (or break) your brand.

As you may (or may not know), I recently launched my new foundational program Unstuck

And through preparation, I was forced to step back and think about business from the perspective of many:

a newbie entrepreneur,

a mid-level entrepreneur,

and an established entrepreneur.

And no matter the entrepreneurial level, I realized that these 4 Vs have a critical role regardless of where you are in business. They are:

Values

Voice

Vision

Visuals

As I often say, branding is waaaaay more than your pretty logo, headshots, and website.

In essence your branding is how you show up for your people creating an experience that is not only memorable...but one that consistently brings about value.

As Seth Godin would say—

"A brand is the set of expectations, memories, stories and relationships that, taken together, account for a consumer's decision to choose one product or service over another."

So the question is—how are you guiding folks to choose you with no hesitation?

Well, I can help you there—get better clear on your values, voice, vision, and visuals (you can also start here for FREE)!

So! Today, we're going to first talk about your brand values.

"Your values are uncompromising truths and guiding principles that articulate what you stand for, and the primary driving force behind your brand, business, behaviors, and decisions."

Pretty much—values are what your business is founded upon.

Annnnnd when consumers share your same values, it makes buying from you a much easier decision.

As an example, my brand values are:

Authenticity—I cannot be anyone but myself

Ethics—being good and doing the right thing always matters

Fun—life is too short to be so serious all the time

Kindness—treating others the way you want to be treated is legit

Helping others—we're on this earth to serve, and to serve well

Hard-working—mediocracy isn't something to work towards

Values matter...

They shape your company's culture, they assist you in making better decisions, they attract your ideal clients and they help solidify what you will (and will not) stand for!

In fact, my values have guided me to walk away from some pretty BIG check$ in business—and God always sent something bigger and better ;)

So!

Now knowing the importance of having values for your business, take 10 minutes today and think of yours.

Best and Humble Success,

Britney
