So lately I have been getting more consistent with my prayer and study life, and decided to start a few plans on the Bible App…
I really love the Bible App because you can pick plans based upon your emotions or a specific topic, like:
...and then in the plan be led day by day with an opening devotional and coordinating scriptures.
In research I found a plan in the Bible App called Grace Over Grind; a simple 5 day devotional that in essence teaches you how to have a greater Kingdom impact as a business owner.
And I wanted to share my insight with you on that today.
So today's topic is just that, Grace Over Grind!
There is a supernatural realm that too many Christian business owners are failing to tap into because they are too busy grinding, running fast and furious to accomplish as much as possible and as quickly as possible.
Defining grace and grind
6 ways to assess if your choosing the grind over God's grace
How to better align with God's grace in business
Start your day spending quality time with God. Pray, read and set your daily intentions.
Keep Phillipians 4:6-7 close: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcend all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Take your smartphone out of the bed at night; so it’s not the first thing you see or grab in the morning.
Leave work at work so that you can enjoy life outside of the office.
Focus on impact and not recognition; are you working to change lives or to receive praises from industry peers?
Dedicate days weekly for “no scrolling”—sometimes the “grind” mindset evolves from us comparing our businesses to others on social media wanting what they have.
And last but truly first...talk to God throughout the entire day as you work…
God guide this call.
God show me another way.
God position me for impact.
God show up today as I work.
